Hosting manifested itself so many ways. Being a teaching assistant, volunteer radio presenting, leading a band. Being a performer. I was so pleased to be offered the opportunity to present artistes and didn’t even know that at the same time I would be learning how to preserve my voice.
Let’s take it way back to when I was made to stand up at the front of the class and sing at the age of 5 with Mrs. Lee.
It’s been in me for a long time. You wouldn’t know how I used to and probably still at times shrink myself in different arenas just to highlight not only what I like but to take all the eyes off of me…
None would believe it because the host version of Rafeelya loves using her voice, her love of music and need to highlight what she likes with passion, her love for live music.
The enthusiasm being on hand to present and experience talent at every level each time is like waking up your taste buds.
